BALAY is in need of a Bookkeeper
TERMS OF REFERENCE
Program / Unit: : Finance
Immediate Supervisor : Finance Officer
Job Summary: Responsible in checking and recording all disbursements and income of the organization in their respective books of accounts and maintains sound, safe and efficient system of bookkeeping.
Tasks and functions
- Checks and records all disbursements and income of the organization in respective books of accounts;
- Prepares Check Vouchers and Journal Vouchers;
- Prepares Bank Reconciliation;
- Prepares payroll and payroll slips for National and Mindanao Office personnel;
- Prepares and submits timely reportorial requirements to government agencies such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-Ibig and BIR among others;
- Prepares Monthly Trial Balance;
- Prepares schedules of the following: Accounts Receivable (Accounts Payable, Advances of the staff);
- Prepares Monthly Financial Statement;
- Assists in the audit of books of accounts;
- Attends institutional meetings or seminars related to her tasks and functions and other tasks as may be assigned or delegated by the Finance Officer;
- Performs other duties/functions as may be required by the Finance Coordinator/Officer or the Executive Director.
