Handbook on the BJMP Policy on Torture Documentation, Reporting, and Rehabilitation of Torture Victims

The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) handbook aspires to facilitate a process towards a greater appreciation for the eradication of torture and its moral and legal foundations. It is a recognition of the vital function of the bureau as one of the pillars of the justice system, especially its role in torture reporting, mitigation and prevention.

This handbook will be distributed to over 1,400 BJMP jail facilities in the Philippines nationwide and is made available here for download.
